About PaiaRetain

PaiaRetain is developed by HASTI, LLC, a software company based in Honolulu, Hawaii.

HASTI was founded by practicing professional structural engineers with the goal of developing practical software tools for structural and bridge engineering.

“Paia” means “wall” in the Hawaiian language, reflecting the company’s Hawaii roots and the origins of the PaiaRetain platform.

PaiaRetain is developed with the experience of U.S.-licensed structural engineers and provides software tools for the analysis and design of bridge and structural elements using AASHTO LRFD design provisions. Our goal is to combine engineering calculations, AI-assisted workflows, reporting, and CAD output in one practical design platform.

PaiaRetain supports engineering review by organizing calculations and design workflows. Engineers remain responsible for reviewing inputs, assumptions, and final design decisions.
